15 seconds to launch: Zero-gravity inspiration for a low-calorie wine

Realistic animation and client collaboration create a striking video for the release of Kendall-Jackson’s latest Chardonnay

Kendall Jackson Winery is merging luxe wine with a vibrant, healthy lifestyle via the latest release of their Avant Lower Calorie Chardonnay — a premium quality chardonnay with roughly one third fewer calories than your average glass. We were enlisted to create a short animated promotional video to support their launch.

Working from our client’s storyboard and utilizing Cinema 4D's powerful volume-building tools, we crafted a memorable story by mimicking the lighter-than-air behavior of liquid in space. With realistic but playful animation, we highlighted the wine’s winning characteristics, instilling a confidence within consumers that their evening glass (or three) won’t compromise their health and vitality.

Our collaborative result was a :15 video to use across all marketing channels that captivates consumers with a clear vision of a light, bright, lower-calorie chardonnay that doesn’t compromise on taste or quality. Capturing the spirit of the wine, the video treats consumers to a fun and personality-forward teaser of a wine destined to become their new go-to.

We paid meticulous attention to detail when recreating the client's wine bottle in 3D, from the grooves in the cap to the wine's appearance from various angles. We used custom 3D materials to bring the intricate label details to life, resulting in a high-quality asset that faithfully replicates the product's look and feel.

Our expertise and tools allowed us to produce a versatile asset that seamlessly integrates into any video project. Whether for a promotional video or a larger campaign, our 3D asset accurately captures the essence of the client's wine bottle.
